Hosting

Hosting is one of the first things you are going to need for your new online business. Your website Host provides the servers where you park your new website. You want your hosting company to have secure servers, and great customer service. The Hosting company you choose will also be able to provide you with URL registration services.

Once you establish your Hosting, you are going to want to install WordPress so that you can build your own Business website. The process is easy and straight forward and can be completed in a few steps.

Step 1 Setting Up Your Hosting Account

Choose a Hosting company and set up an account. They will ask for your name and billing information so that they can bill you automatically when the billing term you select has expired. They will also want a valid email address so that they can offer you deals in the future and to communicate with you if there is a problem with your account. They will also alert you when they are doing maintenance on the servers and when there is an update to WordPress.

Step 2 Adding Your Domain to Your Hosting Account

Now that you have a Hosting account you will add your domain name. The easiest way to do this is to register your domain name with your Hosting provider. This makes it very simple and you can complete this step while you are logged in to your Hosting account. Once you have added your domain name you will have to wait while all of the servers are set up. This can take as long as 24 hours it all depends on how many orders the Hosting company is processing at the time.

Step 3 Adding WordPress to your Account

You will want to add WordPress to your Domain name because it is the most versatile and easiest platform to build your website on. Even many of the biggest websites are built on WordPress. The process of adding WordPress to your Domain Name varies by Hosting provider and is constantly being upgraded but takes only a couple of clicks. Once you add WordPress it will come with a basic template and sample posts.

You will receive an email from the hosting company with information on how to access the back office of your website.
